Michael Flynn originally from Chester Springs Pennsylvanian USA a town one hour west of Philadelphia is a professional studio artist and educator. His research in sculpture and digital imagery often focuses on the necessities of life, self-awareness and community engagement. Notable works include the Utopian Pillow a multi-layered thermal pillow that is hot, cold, soft and firm.
As an educator Mr. Flynn has worked with a diverse student population of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Teaching all of his students the importance of individual development through creative expression. Flynn feels the visual arts are unique in that they force students to think and then create.
Flynn holds a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Montana, Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University New Orleans, and has completed supplemental research and instruction at Charles University Prague, Czech Republic and San Diego State University, CA.
